Newly renovated, our 1938 bungalow house entitled Il Nido Giallo (The Yellow Nest), is located in the heart of Ojai's up-and-coming Meiners Oaks District. Whether you are coming to Ojai for one of its famous music, art or writing weekend festivals, to take part in outdoor activities such as hiking, biking or horseback riding; or just need some rest and relaxation; this is the perfect location for you.

We also host our own retreats and workshops at The Yellow Nest, focused on creativity, health & wellness. Additionally, The Yellow Nest is available for special events.

Our spacious, full kitchen provides cooking facilities for travelers, visitors, and special events.

Our breakfast bar features a perfect perch for morning or afternoon coffee/tea, meals, conversation, and/or meetings.

The full kitchen is stocked with all the necessities (with a focus on organic, natural products), with room to bring your own foods and supplies of choice.

The Chumash Native Americans believed that the Ojai Valley has special, healing powers. We believe that too. Located well above the "tension line" of Los Angeles (1 1/2 hours north), and not far from Santa Barbara; Ojai provides a magical experience for every visitor, no matter what season you decide to visit. With a long history as a destination for rest, relaxation, and retreat; as well as an artistic community dedicated to keeping in tact its "small town" experience -- we are thrilled to be able to host travelers every week from around the world at Il Nido Giallo.
